In this week’s Gospel, we hear of one of the many miracles of Jesus. He commands an unclean spirit to leave a man and the spirit listens. Because of this, Mark tells us, “His fame spread everywhere throughout the whole region of Galilee” (1:28).
Our Catholics Come Home media campaign has given us a unique opportunity to help spread the fame of Jesus in our own region. While the campaign ends on January 31, this does not mean that the campaign to invite people to “Take Another Look” at the Catholic Church is over.
Our call to evangelize does not end when the television commercials go off the air. We are called to continue spreading the words of Jesus to everyone. Let us continue to encourage those around us to take another look at the Church! Let us continue to pray that they will return home. May God continue to bless you as you continue to proclaim Jesus of Nazareth to those around you!
